This is the third in our series of previews of the riders who will be challenging for the supremacy at the 2012 Birmingham BMX worlds.
This time we meet South African Sifiso Nhlapo. He’s no stranger to being on the podium at the BMX World Championships, winning Bronze in Taiyuan in 2008 and Silver at his home World Champs in Pietermaritzburg, 2010. He’ll be looking to go one better and bring home a Gold medal at Birmingham 2012.

About the Event
The UCI BMX World Championships is the biggest annual prize in BMX racing with the worlds best riders chasing the right to wear the coveted rainbow stripes for the following 12 months. The event is also the last event in which nations can secure valuable qualification points as they strive to earn their place at the London Olympics in 2012. The event takes place in the Birmingham's NIA between 24th and 27th May 2012.
